Power Supplies?
Does it matter if power supplies are from different computer manufacturers, as long as the Wattage, Hz, amps, and voltage match, and all the connecters are the same?
What about if you can’t find out the recommended Power for the Mother Board?
Watts is all you need to concern yourself with. Your system will draw what it needs from the power supply and no more. You run into problems when the wattage of you power supply is too low to handle mainboard, cpu, vid card and all your periphrials. You didn’t say what kind of computer you own. If it is an ATX form factor then all power supplies made for that form factor will have the correct plugs. Likewise for other types of computers. With a little courage you will find that putting a computer together is simular to plugging components into the back of a computer, i.e., if the plug doesn’t fit…you got the wrong plug.
